Xacobe Martínez Antelo is a musician, entrepreneur, and cultural activist. (Compostela, 1976). In the field of divulgation, he has conducted didactic concerts and master classes for more than 15 years, and for all types of audiences: professional musicians, music students, jazz enthusiasts, primary and secondary students, senior citizens or groups with diverse capabilities. In addition to didactic concerts, he also imparts workshops of Conducted Improvisation, using tecniques as Soundpainting. His discovery of Soundpainting, was directly from the hand of its creator, Walter Thompson, more than a decade ago. Soundpainting is a sign language applied to improvisation. The Director or Soundpainter composes live impromptu pieces multidisciplinary and collectively. Multidisciplinary because although it began in the 70s applied to Music, nowadays it is used in almost any artistic expression: Movement, Plastic and Visual Arts, Theater, Literature, Performance, etc ... Currently, Xacobe Martínez Antelo is dedicated to Soundpainting practice in a stable way, forming, divulging, learning and enjoying.
